Permanent Jobs

One who really love becoming translator will also love to have permanent jobs from bonafide client(s) with good money. But, it is not easy to have such permanent jobs. Efforts and patience are required. Off course, you still can contact me for English-Indonesian translation jobs. I need that kind of permanent job.

No too-low rate

An Indonesian translator said recently that Indonesian translators shouldn't offter rates that are too low compared to international standards, since that will damage the market and it will make Indonesian translator themselves relatively neglected by other translators and by certain clients. Laymen will think that translating is a "cheap" job, while actually it is not. Well, I think she was right. Why should others respect one while one doesn't respect oneself?
